arta Elena, is singer-songwriter, percussionist and musical director. Martha belongs to a younger generation of Cuban musicians. She is one of the few women that sing salsa and she honors the island’s African-Latin musical roots as she seeks new ways to express the music that runs through the veins of her nation.
